What Art?

1. The mood/expression in the first image is depressed. She looks sad. From my point of view it looks like she is physically watching something she does not want to. Her posture in this image looks like she is slouching but at the same time it looks like she is standing up straight. The mood/expression on the woman's face in the second image is also looking depressed. But I feel like she looks like she is posing for a photoshoot so she is "supposed" to look sad or depressed. Her posture in this image looks normal. But in my point of view, since this does look like she is posing for a photoshoot, the way her posture is, is it looks like she is supposed to be doing that.

2. I think both of these images were being processed in oil paint and photoshop. I feel like the artist drew out what they intended to draw. Then they went over it with oil paint and then scanned it into photoshop to make necessary changes. In both of these images, all the details the artist wants us to see is clearly there and very noticeable.

3. I think in both of these images, the color black and brown really stands out and it does accentuate the mood in both of these images. I feel like the black and the brown make it what the mood is. In my opinion, if the black and brown were not added to these images, it would look more lively.

4. In my opinion, I think the artist intended to convey is depression or in a more positive way, sadness. I feel like in both of these images, the two girls look depressed about something that happened or something that will happen. I think the effort was successful.
