The Importance of Art

I do not agree with this statement. I think tax dollars SHOULD be used on art, music, or theater classes in high school. Even though public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce, I feel like students who like to go in the performing arts gain skills, techniques, and they can express themselves and show their passion for what they really love. The money should be spent on what kids want rather than parents "forcing" their kids to join the work force.
